All children who have attachment disorder encountered some type of trauma during their early life.
Dr. Aimie isn’t available for one-on-one sessions, however, we do have a team of amazing coaches directly supervised by Dr. Aimie who would love to get to know you and provide personalized support for your journey! You can learn more here!
Trauma work has been made confusing in the past, but it can actually be made simple (though not easy!) We help provide the roadmap of how to address stored trauma in the body, and guide you on taking the next best step.
The 21 Day Journey will guide you step-by-step through the essential process of where to begin with addressing trauma. With a supportive community around you, you will be able to address stored trauma safely – and without having to go into the story of what happened.
Dr. Aimie Apigian, MD MS MPH is the leading medical expert on how life experiences get stored in the body and how to restore the body to its best state of health.
It all starts with the foundational module of the 21 Day Journey and Intro to All Parts Of Me. After this, there are 6 modules in The Biology of Trauma® Curriculum.
With one-on-one coaching services to provide you individualized guidance and support, a network of Biology of Trauma®-informed providers, and other educational resources, here at Trauma Healing Accelerated™, we are a health education organization providing a new manual for the human body to prevent trauma and accelerate the healing journey.
We have created a directory listing Biology of Trauma®- informed professionals who are trained in safely guiding others on their healing journey. Please read their descriptions and see who would be a great fit for you to work with.
Receiving a training certificate on Biology of Trauma® Provider means you are equipped with the tools and knowledge to effectively help people with addressing stored trauma in their body on a cellular level. There are 8 modules, each with individual certificate courses as well, that once completed grant you the overall certificate as a Biology of Trauma® Provider. You can add this certificate to whatever your current scope of practice is. This title means you are equipped to more effectively help the clients you work with! It does not expand your scope of practice.
Having a training in Biology of Trauma® will help your clients. Your clients will realize you see the big picture and have a deeper understanding of their system. It will set you apart and equip you to have Biology of Trauma® conversations with clients. If you’re a trauma recovery coach, for example, you will be able to talk to your clients what can be holding them back if we don’t address that biology piece. If you are a medical provider, your clients will appreciate that you are a provider who has a bigger perspective.
If you are a professional serving people whose life may have been affected by trauma and you want more tools, this network is for you! It is a like-minded community of professionals who come together to connect and collaborate.
With a monthly live meeting with Dr. Aimie, special bonuses, an online platform to connect, collaborative projects, and much more, this is something you will not want to miss! You will also be listed on our directory to be found and recommended by us to the people who reach out looking for professionals.

Once you’re in, here is where you can find your 21 Day Journey. Click here to watch a video.
Don’t worry, we have designed the journey to only be one step at a time. By the end of the 21 days, all the video exercises will be there! They will automatically add as time goes on. Before accessing the daily exercises, you will have to sign the agreement. Click here to learn how.
Once you have signed the agreement, the first week should appear. You will only have one week at a time. The next week will appear after the first seven days!
This is to help us stay present and in the moment. This is an experiential journey, not a crash course of only information!
You will have ongoing access to all of the content even after the 21 days end.
When you signed up for this journey, you typed in an email address and a password. That is your email and password for logging in! If it doesn’t seem to be working or you don’t remember what password you used, you can click on “Forgot Password” below the sign-in box.
Let’s start fresh with the main login page.
And then, here’s a video that helps show how from that point!
Hello! Unfortunately, you will not be able to proceed together on this journey as we want to make sure we are both on the same page before we begin! This is an amazing journey into your own nervous system, and we are so excited to start. But we have to make sure that we are in agreement on what this journey is and isn’t, to make sure you are safe and supported throughout the process.
Yes, they will be recorded! You can access them directly in your course content. Please allow 24-48 hours for the session to be uploaded.
The recordings of sessions will be uploaded directly to the course!!
Even after these 21 days end, you will have ongoing access to continue practicing! You will also be able to watch the session recordings.
Here’s a video overview of what it is like to be in our Zoom class!
The good news is: you don’t have to do anything! Many times, at the end of our daily Zoom meeting live with Dr. Aimie, your screen will be automatically switched to a breakout session. Breakout sessions are led by our Mentors, who are trained somatic experiencing practitioners. The group will often partake in a somatic experience and have a time of sharing. Unlike many other opportunities, this is not the time to share personal stories from the past. We are being present in the moment together, noticing and paying attention to what is happening in our bodies. Breakout groups are not recorded.
There are two daily Zoom session options – please only attend one! Although it is subject to change from Journey to Journey, generally session times are 8am PST and 5:30pm PST.
We have students from all over the world! You can compare your time zone to Dr. Aimie’s Pacific Time Zone here: Time Zone Information.
All times listed for the course are in the Pacific Time Zone.
Just pick one! They are the same thing, we are just accommodating different time zones! Use the extra time to continue practicing the daily exercise! But if you want to join the other session you definitely could!
They are a combination of all of Dr. Aimie’s different trainings, so they are not just from one modality.
Somatic Experiencing™ is a big one the first week, the second week is a lot of NeuroAffective Touch™, but mixed in all of this is Parts Work or Internal Family Systems and things Dr. Aimie has learned from movement and body specialists and even during her work with kids with severe attachment and trauma issues. For example, Marking Your Territory is not an exercise in any trauma therapy modality. Dr. Aimie learned that from a movement and performance coach.
We have amazing alumni and trained somatic practitioners in each of our breakout groups to provide support to you on your journey. You will see them in daily Zoom sessions, in breakout groups, and on Facebook. Mentors are incredible members of our community who have been doing their own work and give of their time to help others on their journey.
There is a private FB group for current students and alumni, so you must request to join. Only members can see the posts. The purpose is to give you an opportunity to connect with others and receive support during your journey. Dr. Aimie drops in often. Participation is optional. Please limit tech support and similar questions to tha@traumahealingaccelerated.com. The Facebook group is to help develop community and sharing!
Where do I find it? On Facebook: 21 Days to Calm Aliveness
How long will I have to access it? You may remain in the group after the 21 days end.
Unfortunately, refunds are not available. Even if you are unable to make some of the sessions, the replays will be available for ongoing access as well as the daily exercise videos and bonus content!
Sessions are recorded and uploaded to your course content!
Remember one of our agreements – to be present, and for that to be enough. Don’t get bogged down in having missed a session. Show up today, present, curious, and that is more than enough. 🙂
Alright, let’s start fresh here.
And here’s a video showing how to find daily exercise videos:
Let me know if you still get stuck!!
And you can start by logging in here. And then clicking on the 21 Day Journey to get to the right page! 😊
You can learn more and sign up for a one-on-one coaching session here!
When you sign up, you will automatically sign up for two sessions initially. This is so we can have one session to get to know you, and then another session to follow up! Your coach will get to know you, help identify where to begin and next steps to take. They are able to assist with understanding lab results. Our team of coaches is directly supervised by Dr. Aimie.
Your coach is a mentor and guide who has been trained in holistic health and the Biology of Trauma to help you reach your physical and mental health goals. Together, you create plans and roadmaps to devise and implement positive, sustainable lifestyle, therapeutic and dietary changes for your success.
Your coach’s background and training make them uniquely qualified to support you in discussing recommendations to help you know your next best step for your life and health.
Your health coach will review the recommended plan with you during your 1:1 session. Recommendations in your plan may include nutritional advice or giving advice concerning nutrition, supplements, vitamins and lifestyle factors. They may also include readings, assignments like journaling, drawing, body-focused exercises and courses that would be the best fit given your history and presentation.
As part of quality and training purposes, health coaching sessions will be recorded by Trauma Healing Accelerated who will own the recording and transcript. These will be stored under all confidentiality and not shared with anyone outside of Trauma Healing Accelerated.
Each session will begin promptly on time and end promptly on time, regardless of the time that you enter the meeting. In order to make sure you have the most time for your 1:1 support, please be on time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule the appointment, you must do so 24 hours in advance. There are no refunds, but appointments can be rescheduled up to 3 times. In the event of your absence or without prior 24-hour notice, no refund will be issued due to that time having been reserved for you with no opportunity to allow another individual to schedule at that time, so you will forfeit that appointment.
If we review your information and decide we are not able to help you, we will cancel the scheduled appointment and you will be issued a full refund.
You will walk away with a plan that you understand and can be successful with! You will understand the reason for the different action steps in the plan and know when and how to follow up as would be helpful to you. The goal for this session is for you to be empowered with information about your body and ideas for next steps you could take to achieve a better life after living with the effects of stored trauma on your body and health.
The 21 Day Journey is the only prerequisite for one-on-one coaching support, as taking the journey is foundational to all of the next steps our coaches will help you take!
Unfortunately, Dr. Aimie is no longer available for one-on-one support, however, she does have a team of coaches, directly supervised by her, eager and ready to assist you in taking the next step on your healing journey!

Unfortunately, at this time we do not have scholarships available. We do have a two-part payment plan for each of our courses to help.
Yes! We have many people who join us for each Module offered, even if they took it before. Each running of the Module has new live content, bonus content, question and answer sessions, and guest speakers. (Great news – you get to take it again for half price!)
We are able to grant extensions for up to a certain period to help accommodate your completion of the modules if you fall behind. Just be sure to communicate with your course manager!
The two tracks are identical, with the exception of the certification elements. These certification elements are: a weekly homework assignment, a weekly quiz, a final implementation meeting, and a final oral and written exam. Members of both tracks will have access to the same opportunities and will attend sessions together. Only members of the certification track are granted certification at the end.
All homework and exam elements are designed to help enhance your learning. We don’t want you bogged down in busy work! Homework, quizzes, and exams are designed for you to check your understanding and process the material. If you are engaging with the material, we guarantee that you will successfully be able to handle all quizzes and exams.
We recommend setting aside 4-6 hours a week.
The Module lasts for 3 weeks, usually covering two chapters a week.
A weekly question and answer session live with Dr. Aimie is available for you to ask questions and further enhance your learning.
For members of the certification track, there is an extra fourth week designed for implementation and processing how you will apply the knowledge and tools you have learned to your life and practice.
Modules last about a month.
Occasionally, when many Biology of Trauma® Modules have been offered sequentially without a break, we will design an extended track option. We know life is busy and that you have a lot of commitments, so we want to make learning these tools as accessible as possible!
We strive to upload the recordings and transcripts as soon as possible, within 24-48 hours of the live sessions.
The implementation meeting is a group session live with Dr. Aimie and a group of peers where you can discuss and brainstorm practically how to implement these knowledge and tools to your specific calling and practice.
Each Module stands alone and receives its own certificate. For members who complete all 8 Modules, they receive an additional certificate designating them a Biology of Trauma® Certified Provider.
Yes! Each Module stands alone and can also be taken in any order.
One of the Biology of Trauma® Modules is offered once a month (occasionally we take a month off.) There are 8 Modules that we offer once a year and rotate the order in which they are offered.
Yes! We offer each Module once a year. Sign up for the newsletter to stay tuned to when Modules are next offered.
We are able to accommodate most schedule conflicts. Just be sure to let the course manager know in advance so she can anticipate and accommodate the scheduling.
We are able to accommodate some schedule conflicts and can offer extensions in certain cases if needed. After a certain point, however, if the course is not completed, you will still have ongoing access to all of the material. If you would like to complete the certification process for the module in the future, you are eligible to re-take the Module for half of the original price and complete all of the certification requirements. This way, you are still able to graduate from the program and receive the certificate!
This certification is a certification granted from Trauma Healing Accelerated™, founded by Dr. Aimie Apigian. It is the Biology of Trauma® Provider Certificate. Upon graduation from each module you will also receive certification for that specific module. It does not expand a scope of practice; it is a certification that you can add to your current scope of practice. It demonstrates that one has completed the curriculum in the Biology of Trauma® of Dr. Aimie Apigian’s work, and shows clients as well as other professionals that you have studied and understand the impacts of trauma on the body on a cellular level and how to effectively address it.
Certification is a credential you add to your current scope of practice. It does not expand your scope of practice.
If you are working with clients, having a certification in Biology of Trauma® will help the people you work with. Your clients will see you as having the big picture and more understanding of their system. They will have built-in trust and rapport because they know you have a perspective many providers in your field might not have. It will set you apart to be able to have biology of trauma conversations with clients. As a trauma recovery coach, for example, you will be prepared to discuss aspects that will be holding people back if we don’t address the biology piece. For medical providers, many people appreciate providers who have this bigger perspective.
That’s why we have built in all of this additional support for you. We have specific implementation hours where we figure that out together. Based on the specific type of patients and clients you are seeing, we will discuss what would make the most sense for your practice. What would be something that would be cohesive, that would flow well with what you already have going and just be able to seamlessly build in more depth and more tools to what you are already doing.
Yes, you’ll be given different assessments, lists of traits and characteristics for various biology types, different toxins, infections, what those look like. Additional resources for you. Your clients can do these tests, and you can help interpret these tests.
Yes, it includes the nutrition, the nutraceuticals movement, and even that last module in the certification course is the different types of trauma therapies that are available. We’re looking at Somatic Experiencing™ as the somatic work, as well as EMDR, all the different trauma therapies that are available. Based on where a client is at in their health and what you’re seeing for their biology, where they’re stuck, we will discuss what therapies, what modalities would be most recommended for them that would most likely help them shift from that. It will include all of that. The certification course is a comprehensive look at all the systems and including all the lifestyle factors.
Yes. Each module stands on its own. You don’t have to take all of them. You can also take them in any order; each module stands on its own in terms of content and information.
It depends on your background and what you’re going to be using the information for. A few people are already trauma recovery coaches, so they already have that training, and they’re adding this certification to their professional work. For those people who are health coaches, for those people who are acupuncturists, for those people who are physical therapists, they’ve got their training background, and they’re adding this professional certification to the training that they already have. For those people who don’t have any formal training, but want the certification course, that would be something where we can create a title for you, especially if you’re going to be helping me with future courses and future clients as a support person with this training in the Biology of Trauma®.
Yes, that’ll be part of the Attachment & Neurodevelopment Module.
Yes, for some professionals. We offer CME credits. This is only for: MDs, PAs, NPs, AAs, DOs. You have to have an NPI number. We are working to make it available for other professionals in other fields, however this is unfortunately not currently the case. It is one video — 1 credit — $30.
6 credits in the whole Module, for a total of $180.
